Nata Hat is a beanie featuring a folded brim, contrasting twisted stitch ribbing, and the signature Nata pattern you may recognise from my previous design—the Nata Socks. Though lightweight, this hat will keep you cosy and warm. It incorporates a variety of interesting techniques and knits up quickly, so you’ll be able to enjoy wearing it in just a few days.

ABOUT THE CONSTRUCTION
The hat is knitted in the round and starts with a provisional cast-on. First, the double-folded brim or a simple brim is knitted in twisted rib. Then the live stitches and stitches from the provisional cast-on are knitted together (for the double-folded brimm option). Then you start knitting the Nata cable pattern. After a few reps you start decreasing to shape the crown of the hat and finish by pulling the yarn tail through the final few stitches.
